Michele also received the prestigious Farwell Award twice. Michele began a 12 year working relationship with Ms. Lord. Together they arranged a number of classical pieces for the piano and flute. This partnership culminated in a concert at New York City's Carnegie Hall in the Weil recital hall with a performance that included 6 of their arrangements together. Unfortunately, Melody Lord passed away after a battle with cancer. Micelle embarked on a new journey that included creating her first video as a tribute to her friend, teacher, mentor, and partner.

She also performed with The Nutcracker Ballet, Chicago Sinfonietta. She also enjoyed an over 15 year stint as the Principle Flute for Lincolnwood Chamber Orchestra.
